Jaylee - Potty Training Improvement

Jaylee has been working hard at getting potty-trained (not really!!). At school she will wear big girl underwear and keep it dry; even during nap time. At home she's had a couple of accidents, so Jimmy has FORBIDDEN underwear wearing at home, for Jaylee only, hahaha. (can you tell, he is MAD??). However the last three nights she has made a significant improvement ...

Sunday night: She got up all by herself, went to the bathroom and turned on the light. I ran to the bathroom thinking it was Jordyn, however it was little Jaylee. I was SOOO proud of her.

Monday night: Same thing as Monday, but after she peed, she started whinning. I had to wake up and wipe her. Which I didn't mind.

Tuesday night: She did not go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, however she woke up dry and and went to the bathroom when she had to.

I AM SOOO PROUD OF HER!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed so that by January 9th, 2009 (when she turns 3) that she will be completely potty trained ... no more diaper (or Pull-up) carrying for me!! :)

Halloween Time!

On Friday Jordyn woke up saying "It's Halloween today!!". Both girls took their usual afternoon nap and afterwards we went to a friend's house for dinner and then off to "trick or treating". My in-laws joined us, which was great. The girls were very excited to have Grandpa and Grandma watching them. Jaylee kept giving Grandpa her Snickers because that's his favorite candy. Here are some pics of my Princesses (and their friends).

Tinker Bell carried her bucket all night! And walked for 1.5 hours! She was a real trooper!

"What candies did you get?" They are so cute!!

I hope everyone had a safe and HAPPY Halloween.

Our Annual Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the same Pumpkin Patch we did last year, with some of the same friends. Last year the weather was gloomy and today it was pretty sunny. I really like this patch because it really has LOTS of different. We only go for the pics! I am hoping to make it an annual thing. After the Pumpkin Patch we went to Jaylee's speech therapist's church event. At this event they had catered Claim Jumper, face painting, crafts and the best part ... FREE pumpkin!! The food was delicious and the crowd was really nice. Here is a preview of our patch day.

Happy Birthday Aaliyah!

My Goddaughter is getting so big so fast! Today we celebrated her 5th birthday at her house. Jordyn doesn't get to see Aaliyah very often, but when these two get together, they get along sooo well and it's like they are best friends. I need to add a resolution this year ... to be more involved and plan more playdates with her.

Love the Holidays ... Pumpkin Patch

We stumbled into Tanaka Farms when we took Jimmy to golf at Strawberry Farms. I couldn't believe they had already set up their pumpkin patch ... it was only Sep. 28th! Anyways, we went down to check it out and we were only there for about 15 minutes. However I was able to take a few pictures of the girls.

This is the start of the Holidays!

SURPRISE!

Once again I surprised Jimmy on his birthday with a little family celebration. We just had a really kick back dinner at Buca Di Beppo.
